Reservation and Cancellation Info

Reservation and Cancellation Information:

A toll-free reservation information line is available for travelers located in North America. A reservation request may be send by E-mail OR through our secure, on-line Reservation System. (Simply click the "on-line reservations" link at the bottom of this page to submit your request.

We understand that no matter how carefully you plan your holiday, changes sometimes happen; Please be aware that the reservation made for you, means that we have had to turn away others that wished to reserve the Gatehouse Suite. Therefore our reservation/cancellation policy is explained as follows:

General Reservations (1 to 14 nights)

A 50% deposit, or the cost of one night, whichever is higher, is required and will be charged to your credit card at the time we confirm the reservation with you. The balance is due upon arrival.

1. If notice of Cancellation (all nights booked are cancelled) is received 14 days or more prior to date of arrival, you will receive a refund of your deposit less a service fee of $40

2. "Shortened Stay" (a partial cancellation when some, but not all, nights are cancelled before date of arrival)
If notice is received 14 days or more prior to date of arrival, the 50% deposit will be applied to the total amount of the remaining days. (Please note that if you booked at the discounted rate for "7 nights or more", the nightly rate will need to be adjusted to the regular rate if the remaining days are less than 7). Any refund issued will be less the service fee of $40. Cancelled nights are non-transferable.

3. In case of a "no show" the remainder of the days booked will be considered cancelled and become non-transferable.

We prefer to have happy guests! Therefore, even if your notice of cancellation is received less than 14 days prior to arrival, a full or partial refund may still be issued depending on the circumstances, at the discretion of the Host, and/or if the room can be re-booked.

Additional Information:

For insurance purposes, the use of Suite is limited to 2 (two) registered guests only (no visitors please.) However, under certain circumstances we may use a waiver available for this policy. Please contact us before making your reservation.

Check-in time is between 4 and 6 pm (or by prior arrangement). If you expect to arrive later than 6 pm, please be sure to give us a call so that we can make arrangements to be home to welcome you.

Check-out time is 11 AM on the day of departure. Please note: Unless prior arrangements have been made, late check-out cannot be accommodated.

Pets: In order to accommodate our guests with allergies we are unable to welcome your furry friend. We will be pleased to recommend an excellent kennel nearby.

Long term Reservations (15 nights or more)

An extended stay of 15 nights or longer needs to be pre-paid in full and the total amount will be charged to your credit card at the time we confirm the reservation with you.
